Comedian Katt Williams arrested in Portland

Comic Katt Williams showed up in a Multnomah County court Monday on a fourth-degree ambush charge following reports that he attacked a private town vehicle driver in Portland.
Lead prosecutor Rod Underhill said a “not-liable” supplication was entered for his sake.
Micah Sierra “Katt” Williams was captured Saturday morning after a supposed battle at Atlantic Aviation on NE Airport Way the prior night.
Port of Portland Police say Williams blamed for striking a driver of a private vehicle benefit late Friday night when they got into a contention about taking Williams and his pooch to an execution at the Moda Center. He was reputed to be a visitor at Nick Cannon’s Wild N Out visit stop in Portland.
The driver was taken to a nearby doctor’s facility for treatment of some swelling and slices to the face, police say. Williams left the scene in another vehicle before officers touched base on-scene.
Williams was captured the next morning in Southwest Portland. He was set up for the Multnomah County Jail on fourth degree strike with a $2,500 safeguard. Williams has a functioning warrant out of Georgia, so he’s likewise being hung on a “criminal hold.”
In Monday’s court appearance, Judge Bernadette H. Bignon requested that Williams not contact the person in question. He was given a court-delegated barrier lawyer, and his next court appearance is booked for November 16.
